Fanni Juranyi is a physicist, acting presently as a.i. Head of the Soft Matter group in the Laboratory for Neutron Scattering and Imaging at the Paul Scherrer Institut in Switzerland. Neutron scattering played a central role already in her PhD. Since then, she is instrument scientist at the time-of-flight spectrometer FOCUS at the Swiss Neutron Source SINQ, and before also at the backscattering spectrometer MARS. She has worked on a wide range of topics, from biological membranes and macromolecules to energy materials. She is bord member of the Swiss Neutron Scattering Society.
